While as a nation we're really growing, it's not the case in NSW where pretty much everything from the trains to 'freeway' cars are standing still. For the record the NSW birthrate fell by 900 this financial year, against the national trend.
But as a wag remarked on talk-back radio: 'That's because of the NSW Government's housing-costs condom.'
